My story

My name is Ingrid. I am 41 years old, and I am one of the few female trip sitters / psychedelic guides based in Stavanger, Rogaland.

After more than ten years of my own experiences and witnessing those of others, I have truly come to feel—both physically and in my soul—how deeply transformative and life-changing psychedelics can be. If it weren’t for this journey, I honestly don’t know what my life would look like today.

Because of this, I am passionate about giving more people the opportunity to explore this form of healing if they feel called to it. Unfortunately, psychedelics are still not approved for therapeutic use in Norway. Until that changes, I aim to be a safe and supportive presence for those who wish to explore their inner world with the help of these powerful tools.

I am available in Stavanger, Sandnes, Karmøy, and Haugesund. I also welcome clients traveling from Kristiansand, Bergen, and other parts of the country. If you have had an in-person session with me, the next session can be arranged online via video to reduce travel costs for you.

Why can you trust me as a guide?

Life has given me an education you cannot receive in a classroom—an education in adversity, resilience, and finding one’s way back to oneself.

For many years, I lived a “perfect” conventional life: educated journalist, permanent job in Norway’s largest oil company, good salary, external security. But inside? I felt empty, unhappy, burned out, and depressed. I was living according to the expectations of others, not my own.

In 2012, I made a decision that changed everything. I quit my secure, well-paid oil job and followed my heart instead. I trained in trauma-informed yoga, yoga therapy, relational work, kinesiology, and reiki, and have since worked full-time helping people with psychological, emotional, and physical challenges.

In parallel, I have spent more than ten years deepening my work with psychedelics and integration processes, with a particular interest in how altered states of consciousness can support insight, regulation, and personal development when approached in a safe and holistic way.

I have training in facilitation and support in MDMA-assisted processes, courses in microdosing and therapeutic applications of psychedelics, certification in Psychedelic Integration Coaching, and training in ceremonial frameworks and guidance through psychedelic experiences. I also have prior experience working in acute psychiatric addiction care at SUS, which has given me valuable insight into the interplay between mental health, addiction, trauma, and human vulnerability.

In addition, I have personal experience from a relationship that became increasingly difficult and emotionally depleting over time. It left deep imprints and required me to find my way back to myself—physically, emotionally, and mentally.

This experience has given me a deep understanding of how trauma affects us, and what is actually needed to rebuild safety, boundaries, and connection with oneself.

Psychedelics became an important turning point for me. They gave me access to insights and emotions I previously could not reach, and gradually helped me process what I had been through and reconnect with who I was before the relationship.

What does this mean for you?

My own journey has given me a deep understanding of how challenging a psychedelic experience can be—and how incredibly valuable it is when done correctly. As a trip sitter and guide, I am here to create a safe framework, support you through the process, and help you navigate any challenges that arise along the way.

If you are considering a psychedelic journey and want someone by your side who truly understands—both from experience and from the heart—I am here for you.

How do I work?

For me, psychedelic support is primarily about openness, curiosity, and safety. I know how profound such an experience can be, and my main role is to create a space where you feel held and supported—wherever the journey takes you.

I combine professional insight from psychological models such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), inspiration from Gabor Maté, somatic work with clients, and my own lived experience and personal insight. This gives me a holistic understanding of how to integrate powerful psychedelic experiences so they become part of your everyday life—not just a fleeting experience.

Through conversation, reflection, and grounded presence, I help you explore your inner landscape, break old patterns, and reconnect with your authentic self.

I believe in the power of personal transformation and aim to support you in discovering your own tools for a more meaningful and authentic life.

Together we use techniques such as dialogue, breathwork, meditation, and body awareness—always adapted to your needs and what feels right for you.

I have extensive experience with stress regulation and body-based work, and I often work with themes such as:

  • Love and heartbreak

  • Separation and relationship challenges

  • Boundary setting

  • Relationships

  • Healing after toxic relationships / narcissistic dynamics

  • Inner safety and self-worth

  • Stress management

  • Career guidance

  • Sleep difficulties

  • Burnout / ME

  • Depression and anxiety

  • Grief processing

For me, the most important thing is to create a safe, warm, and supportive space where you can process your experiences, strengthen your intuition, and find your way back to inner balance and strength.

If this resonates with you, you are warmly welcome to get in touch for an informal conversation.
